Meets

The Chairman, welcomes you to The

South Lincolnshire District Association WEB SITE.

Hello everybody and welcome to the South Lincs DA.

We have a full compliment of committee with two new members joining us, Malcolm Marvin and Adam Storra. Welcome to them and a big thank you to all the other committee members who helped me over the past year.

We have a full program of events this year, some old and some new. Please try to attend as many as possible. Without you, the members and the stewards we would be going nowhere fast. So please come forward in big numbers to help out and steward meets, so we can have a really exceptional year.

Last, but not least a big thank you to my wife Hillary, who has supported me the whole year through and I an sure will do the same this year.

See you all on the rally field sometime this year.

Thank you. Your Chairman, Derek Beaumont

Lincoln Christmas Market Site, Whisby Garden Centre at sunrise by Carol Hodgson

Our DA covers one of the largest counties in Great Britain, with such a diversity of interesting places for you to visit. From the City of Lincoln with it's beautiful Cathedral, Castle, quaint uphill shopping area and it's famous Christmas Market, now the largest in Europe. The market town of Boston, well known for it's church named 'The Stump'. To small villages tucked away in the Lincolnshire Wolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Then we have the razzmatazz of Skegness, our largest coastal resort. Down to The Fens, a haven for bird watchers.

Towards the south of the county is the market town of Spalding, world famous for it's tulips and flowers in early May.

The South Lincs DA puts on a special meet to coincide with the Lincoln Christmas Market. Book early through our Booking Officer to avoid disappointment.

Take a look through our programme of meets, you will be made very welcome when you join us at any meet. For the full list of Camping and Caravanning sites in the county of Lincolnshire please refer to your copy of the Big Sites Book.
